In Years 12 and 13, the Department offers AS/A2 English Literature. The aim of the English Literature course is to foster a love of reading demanding texts as well the skill of presenting and developing a well constructed argument, conveying meaning precisely and thinking logically. This subject remains popular with a steady flow of students moving on to higher education in English or related subjects.
